Sorry for posting this so late but Ashley unveiled her first DKNY Billboard on Times Square on December 22. She looked fabulous so be sure to check out the photos. Also read the interview with her about the campaign below:
Tell me about being the face of DKNY Jeans.
It’s very exciting, it’s really fun! I kind of developed a relationship with Donna over the course of the past probably year and a half, two years. I went to her fashion show and then she dressed me for the Met Ball–she actually created a gown and it was amazing–and I just think that she’s a really beautiful person, what she stands for and it was kind of this organic fit and everyone got to talking and said, ‘What do you think about this?’ and I was like ‘I would love to’ because I think DKNY is a very New York brand. It kind of represents a lot of what New York is. I love this city, so it’s very fun to be able to be apart of something like this.
What are your favorite types of jeans? Skinny Jeans? Boyfriend Jeans?
Skinny jeans are usually my go to jean. I do bootleg every once in a while, boyfriend jeans I feel like are so hard to pull off! Skinny jeans are very easy and you can kind of pair anything with them and it will work: heels and boots or nice top or flouncy top.
